The Department of Economics of the College successfully organized a special session on the Union Budget 2026–27 on April 13, 2026 to enhance students’ understanding on the country’s financial framework.

Students of M.Com Sem IV— Chanpreet Kaur, Aleena Singh, and Sneha Mahajan delivered a well-prepared and insightful PowerPoint presentation highlighting key aspects of the budget.

The session proved to be highly engaging and interactive, encouraging students to actively participate in discussions. A total of 68 students from B.Sc (Economics) – Semesters II, IV, and VI and BBA Semester IV attended the session.

To enrich the learning experience, a video showcasing the history and important facts about the Indian Budget was also presented, helping students gain a broader perspective on its evolution and significance.

Mrs. Ravneet Arora, Head of the Department of Economics, applauded the efforts of the presenters and appreciated their excellent work. She also shared valuable insights into the various rituals and traditions associated with the Indian Union Budget, making the session more informative and meaningful.

Overall, the session was a great success, providing students with valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of the Union Budget.
